Austin Macauley and I have made the executive decision to delay the publication fo My Teacher’s a Spy !! until the end of January next year, we have decided to concentrate on My Teacher’s a Robot ! and give it every opportunity to progress.
With the Waterstones Book Signing coming up this Saturday 8th October 11am – 3pm, we are hoping the publicity from that will help push the book forward, we have confirmation that The Gloucester Review newspaper will be attending on the day which also brings further exposure.
As much as I would have loved to have My Teacher’s a Spy !! out before Christmas I will will bow to the wisdom of Austin Macauley and look forward to seeing it in print early next year.
After a few discussions we have finally set a date for my Book Signing at Waterstones Gloucester.
On Saturday 8th October I will be at the Gloucester branch of Waterstones signing copies of My Teacher’s a Robot ! which is really exciting, time to start publicising on all media fronts and hopefully we will have a good turn out.
With any luck this will go really well and be a platform for my next book My Teacher’s a Spy !! which is not far away and maybe we could even launch it from Waterstones.
If you are around in Gloucestershire that day pop in and get a signed copy !
Well, that’s it all finished after six weeks of visits to Tuffley Library, with nine visits from Grange Primary School and three from Tuffley Primary School I have read to over 350 children from My Teacher’s a Robot !
We did some magnificent Creative Writing and really laughed at the crazy stories we created, the children really enjoyed making the stories even though their contribution was only one line but they thought hard and came up with great lines, the teachers were so impressed.
We also had fun with Creative Drawing, the children came up with some wonderful Aliens that made them all laugh when they were revealed, again the teachers were impressed with their imaginations.
I have really enjoyed my time with Tuffley Library, I would like to thank Elizabeth and Margaret who were very helpful and made me feel very welcome, I hope to see you again in the future.
What a great day yesterday, some children from Tuffley Primary school visited me at Tuffley Library, after hearing me read from My Teacher’s a Robot! a few weeks ago at their school they were pleased to see me again at the library.
We played a creative writing game that was extremely funny and we all laughed a lot, what great, non-sensical and wonderfully thought up stories we managed to make up between us, the teachers could not remember seeing the children so excited about writing a line of a story but their faces when they heard their line read out was great as they all laughed.
The children were absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to get a signed copy of My Teacher’s a Robot! and the books flew out of my grasp as soon as I had signed them.
Thanks to Tuffley Primary for visiting and to Elizabeth at the Library for organising, looking forward to seeing the next class in a few weeks.
Another fantastic write up in this weeks Gloucester Review about my Libray Events from the Half Term, they all went really well with everyone enjoying My Teacher’s a Robot!, again the Gloucester Review have done me proud and helped in publicising me and My Teacher’s a Robot!

What a lovely visit to Tuffley Primary school this morning, the children were totally engaged whilst I read from My Teacher’s a Robot!, they seemed to enjoy every word and would have let me read the whole book.
They then asked some fantastic questions, finding out about being an Author, how I wrote my book , the idea’s I have, how the front cover was designed as well and how many more books are to come in the series.
The Head Teacher Mr Greenwood was pleased to have me visit and would like me to return with My Teacher’s a Spy !! in the near future, thanks to Gemma Clune for organising, I would be happy to see you all again in the future.
What a great review from Karen Hill at Just Relax Magazine, it would seem that Karen and her son really enjoyed My Teacher’s a Robot! and have given it the thumbs up which is magnificent.
Here is the link to the review, I am so pleased with it and happy that more people have enjoyed my book.

What a busy few days visiting Libraries in Gloucestershire, I had a lovely time at Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Chuchdown Libraries, the children loved listening to me read from My Teacher’s a Robot!, even parents enjoyed the story and had more questions than the children.
Each Library made a great effort advertising the event with Tewkesbury and Chuchdown even making robots which were great, the children then got busy drawing me design’s for the front cover of my next book My Teacher’s a Spy !!
There were some great ideas and they all enjoyed drawing with some input from me and the parents, I am sure everyone had a nice time at each Library, with any luck I might be back with My Teacher’s a Spy !! in the future.
